If Online Etiquette was a plus-sized woman, This match was the guy that that threw her into the pit in his basement and made her rub lotion on her skin. (Threatening the hose if she refused.)

"Somebody's" "varied" fleet  bearing down on my base... (after 3 or so suicide warp-ins on mining)

Spam itself is not very much against online etiquette, only when an already too powerful hard-to-stop ship is spammed does it really become a problem. Monsoons are fine.

i dont think there is anything left to spam really. everything has counters in 1v1.

in team games spam can be annoying, if each team makes a different strong spam, u cant counter all of them unfortunately. its hard to force a 3v3 to become 3 1v1 matches.

Nice. Anyone else notice how the Intrepid textures seem to be the best ones in FO. I mean they seem to be the best quality, especially when you get in really close. Most of the others lack the crisp, clean quality of the Intrepid's. Just an observation.

Well, you can only get the ship models through MSFC, but if you become a member there I will ask Majestic about getting you my modified versions of the textures.

Oof, that's cruel considering that the Intrepid isn't a native FO job  . Many FO models and textures are from beta 2 and below, so it's understandable in my opinion

A texture upgrade for it is actually on the devs' to do list, I guess they want to do it well themselves.

I think the Intrepid is too clean actually . Of the Federation ships, my faves are the Galaxy and Nebula classes. However, across the whole of FO, my faves are the Klingons! Their newer ships and stations are sublime. Admittedly, their older stuff needs a little work .

The way I could compare would be to use Adm Zaxxons current avatar as an example. His version 1 textures seemed a little "too clean" while his version 2 added some texturing to give it a bit more detail. I think that the Intrepid could use a little mild texturing for a similar effect

In any case, I have a few new submissions, for the Awesome Screenshots thread.
