thought it was only 20ish years befor the Enterprise D was launched?
Starfleet is like any modern navy, evan after ships are retired they'll keep them in supply depos for years incase of wars or to recommissioned as science vessels
besides that 1 soyuz the enterprise rescued from the temporal anomaly was brand spanking new, whos to say starfleet didn't  just issue her crew new uniforms, a systems upgrade and let them go back on patrol

There haven't been any Soyuz Class in service (except the Bozeman, but that's a special case - if they still used the ship) since the late 2280's. Ships like the Miranda are still in active service, but the Soyuz isn't. If they still are around, it probably won't be for anything except Academy training ships or owned by civilians (making them SS instead of USS).

wow i had no idea
but i still like it as a novelty ship, like a complement to the TMP ships
but hey! atleast my connie wont be the only one ( not supost to be there )

Maybe, the Constitution was never stated to have been retired and the Federation is a big place...they might still use it, like the Miranda.

maybe not stated but defenatly implyed 
but again like any modern navy starfleet isn't above reusing proven designs

True, but having one in a museum doesn't mean all of them are gone. It might even be a TOS version.

The Miranda and Excelsior aren't built anymore, though are still used. That's why my Constitution is a Warp-In, just like them.

lol every time i trie something with that warpin odf  the game crashed so i jsut made them buildable
wich is kinda nice sence my mirandas tend to die alot... i'm begining to think that ship has the curse of kann

Warp-In works for me...I wonder what went wrong. What have you done with the station? Do you still use it for the original Warp-In ships?

Miranda's die alot? The Miranda (and 1 Centaur) is the only TMP ship I've been able to get up to veteran.

well my mirandas are about as strong as a saber and they get targeted alot

Mind have the Defensive/System value of a Saber and the Offensive value a little below an Excelsior.

That is the one with the saratoga in it.  any way, I was originally going to make the soyuz the veteran form of the miranda, but you guys seemed to like the saratoga better.

Oh, that Saratoga! I thought you were talking about a Miranda varient like the one from DS9...
