they are really pretty, nice shots! but thats not standard fleetops is it?

also what is this ship i dont recognize it?

That's the Excalibur Class, the real Excalibur that fans came up with long before the Connie-reskin from STO.

Yes its your Excalibur, although everything on it is modified. To be honest everything on the Screenshots you see is modified.

did you do all this tweaking yourself? some neat stuff

the sky boxes particularly (or are they already in fleetops and iv just not seen them yet?)

Yes the skyboxes are created by myself, the custom odf's for all ships I added are made by myself, all buildbuttons, tooltips, modified textures etc are all my work.
BUT not the ships themselves, they are from various 3D artist as im not that good in 3D.
You can DL some of the skyboxes I created from

At the end of a feds vs borg match I had 2 constructors hiding in a green neb. the last hope of the human race

if you look closely in the background there is a cube and a few assims.

not likely unfortunatly for that ship, out of shot behind the assimilated saber was a large borg cube

this is from a while ago, me and two others were playing as feds and we only built sabres. and with triple yarding them...this is the end result (i think that these are just my ships).

They both are, I just focus on the Excalibur because it stole the name of a better ship.

Oh, yes now I remember. The Excalibur was one you could build with a standard cruiser, (basically one of the graphical sets) and the Exeter was the special "Advanced Cruiser" or something.

If you mean from the You shall not pass! screenshot, I think it's a modded turret. There was a thread a while ago about a personal mod and I'm sure that station was in there.
