actually, I find it one of the most unique ships around.  Meaning, not kitbashed at all.  I read somewhere that its 'saucer' section was modular too.

I really like its forward cannons and photon pod ontop.  I think it would be my favorite ship overall if it wasn't so small.

I would argue that it's a strong kitbash, because the front section is very reminiscent of the defiant, and the deflector looks exactly the same, although it's hard to see it from this angle.  And the sides of the "saucer" module look just like voyager's, right down to the orange thingy that I've always assumed was a big thruster.

Take the intrepid image from here:

Take away everything but the sides and then add the nose of the defiant from here: (you can click on the image to make it larger)

Then add some funky stuff on the back that looks like a cross between the Norway class and Voyager's nacelles upside down, and you've got the whatchamacallit class.

Granted, the best thing I can draw is a mean stick man, but it definitely looks kitbashed to me.

Doesn't look like a kitbash to me. None of the parts look similar enough to have been taken from any existing ship (from an in-universe or real life view). Seems like a new ship that just has similarities.

The Saucer looks more like the Nova than the Intrepid... but even that has differences.

even if it is kitbashed is some way, why wouldn't Starfleet re-use a deflector design, or certain shape?  If it works, it works.

The yeager looks more the the wtf class.

As far as the other goes, it's circular reasoning, and isn't what I was talking about.  I'm just saying I don't like the model because it's a kitbash, and I just don't think it's a very well done one.  The defiant parts and the intrepid parts really seem to clash.  Just one man's opinion, is all.  But I've already stated my reasons for not liking it as a work of art.

I kinda like it. I think i would be a lil more sold if the front didnt look like the defiant nose. but i like the idea of segmenting the main saucer its creative.

lol why does it take a vorcha and 4 bops to ambush a galaxy? the galaxy would eat those bops fast with its passive.

EDIT: its the other way around, bops murder galaxy.
