Admirals log for replays poll

Just some questions, wondering if i should include all the build stuff from the log, each player gets their own page so there would be a lot of images to attach/include in video. what do people think?

Personally I think the only useful pages are Military, Economy, and Tally.


Score, Economy, and Timeline mean very little I believe, because they are dependent on each faction having similar resource systems, unit costs, crew in buildings, etc. Meaning that unless you are playing a mirror battle, the stats will be off.

i like the pretty graph of relative power cos its pretty! But i can see they arent always accurate.

Tally i would like, but each player has their own tally and doesnt tally have a scrollbar to reveal the rest of the numbers. What column should i sort by?

i had a look into posting images from the other screens.

build: it is useful, but each player gets their own, and each player's list goes so far down it needs to scroll. so i dont think its reasonable to include it.

tally: not helpful either, it gives things in unhelpful classes such as destroyer and frigate etc.

im gonna go with my gut instinct and the poll results and stick to the current 3.

The only ones I care about are tally, economy, and the graph which I think is called relative power. Those pages show all the players at the same time I think so you should only need to do 3 screenshots.

Where's the option to include the list of how many of each ship type was built and the most effective class? I like that one.

Is that included under 'I like seeing built ships images of the log' or is that just the Ships tab?

there is a page that lists things built by name. but it includes things like outposts and miners. each player has their own list and the list is longer than 1 screen, so it would take a lot of screenies.

the one with the most effective combat blah blah lists ships built by descriptions such as destroyer cruiser battleship frigate etc, which i dont find helpful. again each player has their own, im not sure if the list is long enough to scroll.

either way, both of these infos are stored in the text file already, and making screenies of them would be a lot of work, so i decided not to include them.

Well, I think people don't care about the miners and buildings, but if you show the list with the most built things first you'll see the most important ships that have been built. It's only a problem for Borg, since they tend to have more than  3or4 ship classes, each of them built only 1 or 2 times. But for the others: it's enough to see that someone built 150 S-2's, or 344 Fighters. So, I'd like to see those lists  .

problem is, each player gets their own list, and these scroll down. The txt file contains these lists anyway. I really dont wanna start needing loads of screenies.
