Adding a new ship Need help

I just need a little help adding a ship to my game.i have alot of esxperience adding them to stock armada 2.i have done everything correctly sprites,sods, ect..but everytime i build the ship it shows up as an "ERROR" avatar .please help

Is it for stock A2? Because they normally don't work in Fleet Ops.

No,its a Ambassador class ship.It works just fine with Ghost's mod.

I meant a ship meant for stock, not one from stock. As far as I know, putting things from stock-compatible to FO and back requires some sort off changes.

Is Ghosts mod for FO or Stock A2?

Sorry for the misunderstanding.Its a single ship mod ment for the stock version of armada 2,but seems to work as well for ghost's mod for armada 2 as well.Is there some sort of s=change that needs to be made for the sods tga's ect?thnxs for your help

I also tried to install some other ships to FO, but it doesn't work, due to the fact, that the ship descriptions are much more difficult. There are .odf files for each rank of each ship, so dozens of .odf's for each sip, whereas in the normal Armada2 there is just one with much less data. Without a detailed tutorial from professional personal it is hardly possible I think  .

Your best bet is to just make your own odfs from one of the Fleet Ops ships. You can't just put in a mod designed for stock A2, the odfs are set up totally differently

Yep sadly we couldn't keep backward compatibility between Fleet Operations and vanilla Armada 2, cause of new features like the experience system. If you have some expierence with moding Armada2 you should be able to understand the Fleet Operations ODFs and make your own vessel by copy and paste.
