Zoom out more

Random idea: Have the ability to zoom out all the way till the main map shows the same thing as the mini-map.

Kind of a transform into icons view like SupCom? Would be nice to not have a minimap and would work well with a second monitor.

I would prefer the minimap, though a 'full-zoom' might be an interesting in-game toggle like the tactical view.

I hope at high zoom levels the poly count goes waaaay down, or my computer will scream

You can set this in a few seconds in the RTS_config file...  You'll lose combat sounds if you zoom far enough out.

Yeah, but once you do this you lose multiplayer.
