Wormhole ideas

I think that there could be some new wormhole types in the game. The current one does its job but a new types of wormholes would give some interesting tactical values. Here are some ideas:
An one way wormhole. A wormhole that can be entered only from one end.
An one way wormhole wormhole with many exit points. There could be placed many exit points in map, but the one where ships come out changes. The exit point should change to next one after some time like 30 sec or 2 mins.
Disappear/damage chance that could be set for a wormhole. For each vessel that enters the wormhole there should chance of disappearance/damage that could be set to the wormhole in map editor.
Each of these wormholes should have different visual appearance. The One way wormhole could be in different color and the wormhole with disappear/damage chance could have some flickering.

Very nice and would give a whole new life to map making I think (it would make terrain based maps much more... shall we say interesting?) 
I hope the Devs decide to include these ideas when they do their wormhole "update model" thingy

An unstable wormhole would be cool, and a random exit one would be cool to. I like it.

One that wasnt always open, you have tohave a ship within a certain distance for it to open and you to see it.

If you could collapse them that would also be awesome, It should take tons of firepower but say you have a random wormhole near your base and enemies keep pouring through. I'd like a way to stop that, at least with these 'special' wormholes.

The good news is all of this is possible as demonstrated by the A1 mission "Gauntlet". The bad news is it's only possible by using trigger events and scripts that single player missions use, and as far as I know there is no single player mission editor available for A2. If there is though please tell me, I'd love to get my hands on one and make these wormhole types a reality.

Hehe, wormholes could even be made like "bridges" in Red Aler or CnC, where they can be "destroyed/destabilized" to limit access, and then a sacrifice of a particular unit (or any unit) can "restabilize" the wormhole again

Can wormholes be put on paths? I had an idea for a map with a central hub of womholes orbiting the centre, each leading out somewhere else on the map. I couldn't get anything to follow a path though, so I was foiled quite quickly.
