Why not warp?

why there is no warp in the game?
I find it very unfortunate  ... but is it still?

They removed it because it didn't fit with the stuff they were adding.

Though, I think it would have been better to leave the toggle on/off (for people who like it), but off by default.

Either way, this is an old question and warp is out - and staying that way.
