Warp in vessels

I really like the warp in system, I think it could benefit from a couple more tweaks.

1. A bunch of people have expressed a desire to have more than 1 vessel at a time,  small fleets could arrive instead of the 1 ship.

2. There are a number of map object ships, that are going to be added, most of them are canon designs, but are too old to be production ships. perhaps working these vessels into the warp in system would bring the feds closer to canon. would be neat to see mirandas, excelsiors, ambassadors, and other tmp/tng/ds9/voy vessels warping in mixed together at random

3.  Add the prometheus to the experimental warp in. Shes powerful enough to represent an experimental design and too rare to be a standard warp in vessel. Besides variety is the spice of life.

Interesting. Another idea, set the Warp in ships to hero ships (you know the 'ishero = 1' code in the odf) so that they have no commission stardate in the Admirals log, just like a ship that was called in instead of built.

imo as of 'Endgame' the Prometheus is a common design, lol.

we are currently discussing to change the "normal" warpin into 3 vessels warping in at once.. more to come in future patches! :)

thats not so bad, i dont so much mind the randomness of the warp in, i think its more realistic that if you sent out a distress call you'd be happy that any ship came no matter what the ship is but i found it a bit useless in the middle of a battle when one ship comes and just gets destroyed quickly when if a mini fleet came it could change the tide of that battle...

I think what most people are doing though is just warping a ship in at a time to there base slowly building there fleet up which slows down the gameplay when the point is to use warp in when ya in a battle or thats my belief...

I think keep the normal system and either get 4 or 5 normal ships or 2/3 experimental ships and adjust the stars correctly or maybe have 3 options and get say 1 experimental and 2 normal or just leave it completely random.

I dont know If the AI could  handle it, or it would be too hard to code . But have  two modes [Mode 1]  Standard warpin You get one vessle for  standard warp in mode. Mode [2]  Battle mode  you get  three ships  one in the light Crusers class , one in the destroyer class and one  pocket battleship. but the  emergency Warpin will  have a cool down period of  15 seconds before it could be used again Doing so would limit the  spamming of ships to a battle area.  example for Battle warp in  for the  Fed would be a,  Sabre, Defiant,  and Nebula classes.
