I bet you read that title and thought i was going to ask for warp ins for other races ha.
I wanted to request some mixed species fed warpins, it isnt always going to be starfleet that responds to distress calls so how about a vulcan science ship or a ferengi maruader or andorian ships, even tho 2 of those races joined starfleet they still have their own ships for their own reasons so one of those could respond and assist and if they are destroyed it would make more sense in paying with supply since starfleet wouldnt ask for res from an admiral it doesnt really make sense, if a general loses a tank they dont ask him for money to pay for a new one its a bit.... iffy but yeah for balance i get it but when you lose an allys ship it would make sense to pay reparations.
This would also be a way of bringing other races into gameplay as more than just map objects.

I like the idea of bringing in non-Starfleet civilian ships, but they'd lose their alien crew and Warp-In as Starfleet ones as if they'd been built by them.
If they could fix that, I'd support it. There could also be some Martok-avatar units included.

I always like this idea. It has been requested a bunch of times.

In general i like the idea, would give the federation another nice touch, and of course a more random warp-in.
But i'm curious: the starfleet is supposed to command starfleet vessels around, other federation vessels are not part of the starfleet. Otherwise we would have seen civilian (or military) federation vessels in the dominion war, or any other major battle, or not?

It's a distress call, not Starfleet orders. Starfleet only deals with the paperwork after you throw their lives away and the special Warp-Ins.
We don't know civilians didn't help in the war; we saw very little of the war itself and have seen 'civilian advisors' on at least TNG.

"Distress calling" a Teutoborg or a Descent class?
For me it's more like a "warp-in" of nearby allied vessels to a specific battle zone.
Just saying.
I still like the idea though
- getting an andorian warship might be quite nice, or even other ones.

There's a reason those two ships are seperate from the regular Warp-In and why I also specified them as the only ones Starfleet deals in. Game tooltips calls them a distress call.
In earlier version (haven't seen it in this version) regular Warp-In said X answered the distress call, while the specials said Starfleet granted you control of X. That text is still in the game and should say everything.

You cant distress call a prototype ship lol, so what starfleet command said we need special prototype assistance if your not super advanced then jog on.
Dont want to ninja what tyler said but hes correct the 3 warp in vessels are the distress call ships and the others are what starfleet request into the battle like if the battle is going bad they pull a semi complete new ship from the yards and have it get straight into the action.
Are the devs interested in this idea? yes no, in the works, not what you want? anything?

What if in team games your ally looses some ships when a warp-in is made by a ally player. That while causing a few issues would be a interesting concept. I have mix feelings about that idea, but thought I would throw it out there anyway.

ummmm.....what rule of acquisition in says "Help those in need for free"!?!? Starfleet doesn't really use currency....so I wouldn't want to see that one happen. But otherwise, I whole-heartedly support this idea. I particularly like the idea of Klingon vessels coming to Feds aid, or, as you suggested, Vulcan ships, etc. Very good idea!!

Starfleet uses Latinum for getting the Ferengi out of their face, so just deduct some supplies at Warp-In and call it a day.
For free wouldn't work, the number of Ferengi that don't care about profit or money probably wouldn't fill a full-sized ship.

I dont think it would fill an escape pod.
