Tuch the pen on the pad = select a ship. use a scandary button to activate a function. Graphic pads can be different so I don't know if their would be a way to customize them much alto the Wacom I have has a external customizing function. I don't know what kind of tablet you have.

a tablet should make your ability to control the game a bit faster. instead on dragging the mouse to a ship you just click it.

What do you think?

hm, you can use your tablet as desktop input mouse anyway. so what is your idea with real tablet support. sure, a tablet has more input signals like pen angle or pressure. but what advantage do you see over a regular mouse. i imagine playing with a tablet a lot more complicated than with a regular mouse.

Well in some games like homeworld 2 the tablet dose not read the hole screen size and will have trouble moving to the eage of the screen. I have not tested it in a2,bata2 or pre3 but the next time you test fo 3 can you check to make sheer at lest your tablet works.

I like playing civ 3 witht he tablet and war craft it works well for be but it takes time to get used to using a tablet its not for every one.

this would also make it usable for touch screens which would be very cool

VERY interesting, for the touch screen. Imagine having a fully interactive monitor, with ACTUAL LCARS buttons in some far-off FO version, controlling each ship with an LCARS interface... oh goodness...drool.

hehe, sure. i will begin work on that as soon someone donates me a touch screen :P ;)

i will look in the wacom tablet issue sometime, but i hope you understand that this is a very low priority issue and not directly related to fleet operations. more a problem of the wacom software that doesn't detect armadas resoutions right or something like that
