Visable Sensor Network

Post ideas and suggestions on new features or improvements here.

I didn't really know what else to name this topic...but, what I want to suggest, is something that would somewhat go with an already implemented feature.  The idea is this, when a platform is being constructed, or rather when one is placing a platform (like any other station) you get a ring, which I am told is what is/will be/the potential sensor range of the station.  I was thinking, would it be possible to make them visible, that is, already constructed stations sensor ranges, visible when making a new station?  This way, it'd be easier to set up a sensor network, or a turret network, if you knew where it ended and could overlap, etc.. it could help avoid any gaps.  I only say this, because I notice that the fog clears away a little further then what the rings are for the range.

I hope I was clear in this post, heh.

you can check the sensor range again by hovering over the sensor system icon (also a red circle appears showing the weapon range if you hover over the weapon system icon

Yeah, I knew that part, I meant during the placement of a new installation, a simple quick glance, so you can see if the sensor ranges will overlap, or skim each other, or if there will be some sort of gap.

Is that not what the green ring is?

It is, I think he meant that when you are going to place a new station, you see all of the station's sensor ranges, not just the one you are about to place.
