I thought you could only have so many polys and that the textures can only be so big in armada 2...Have I been misinformed?

Those look like they'd be a bit to high detail...

I should read b4 voting... i thought u meant an upgrade of strength/speed etc... which i think it needs, and a size change aswell...

you dont need to make two meny polys to get it to look like that most sips in fo are vowed from far away so you can flatin some parts and keep the 3d look.

the speed can remane te same the may have to have a slite incress in the strength and maby a new spethal wepon.

No way, most of the time you view them from above yes, but there are times I like to do the little panoramic view of my ships and watch them attack the enemy...it's cool, like watching a movie...I want the ship to look good, not flat parts...that's just ugly...

I like the special weapon of the defiant, it's pretty nice, it disables weapons doesn't it? like super useful on the borg cubes...

love this ship and i think its more commonly known as the Hornet Class.

this is what i think the series producers should have made the defiant look like. two words "Pimp me"

kool ship like the design there are loads just like that model and other defiant varients on http://www.startrekaustralia.com loads of realy nice models. and other federation ships.

yes, a refit option, that'd be nice, like the Rhein(did I spell that correctly?) class for the romulans, or perhaps for a Benjamen Sisko avatar

a nuther idea for use of this ship is to use it to replase desint class how says that the ship with big guns has two be huge?

you cood call it a proto tipe next gonaration desfint class.

ok, i thought that we wheren't going to add more fed ships or replace them. i mean we don't even know with V3 how the defiant will look like as the graphic will be better anyway

thar was tolk about replasing the desint class and the fed team is all ways on the look out for good modals to replase bad or out dated ones.

Yeah with decent modelers, e.g. the FO team alpha channels, bump mapping and just good textures can be used with a relativly low poly model to make it look like it has about 3 times as many polys.
