Can we have troopships?

Minus the Romulans and Borg and Noxter.


Do the klingons have a -- Okay refining the request...

Can the Federation have a troopship?

Why not other races?
I dont why there shouldnt be troop ships, but I dont care much for them

The only thing I ever used troopship for was to replenish the crew on a ship after my repair ships fix it up.

i used them quite a bit, as i am a player that usually does most of my research & upgrades first, i tend to have a shortage of ships, so those troop ships are quite useful at fixing this for me .

I would use them to capture enemy construction ships and build up a mixed fleet with mixed specials and attack the enemy!

The prob with building 2 complete tech trees is time and resources, by the time your done your enemy has a fleet at least 2x bigger than yours

troopships are cool but in the startrek world... man that beaming over to the enemy ships is a bit slow especially in the heat of battle

The Klingons and Borg should have Marine Boarding Parties (like the Iwo Jima Class of the Stock A2).
