Tricobalt Torpedoes

Post ideas and suggestions on new features or improvements here.

I love the new area damage on tricobalt torpedos, however it always makes me sad when they miss.

Maybe it would be cool, is if instead of missing, they detonated somewhere nearby so there is a chance they damage something else.

It might not be possible in the engine though.

You mean like the Quadrobalts and stock Tricobalts?

Sort of yeah, but keep the small aoe of the current tricobalts, and only have it happen when the torpedo misses.

You mean rather than the torpedo go off into oblivion if it goes as far as the target and is off in the weeds it just goes off and might hit something if it is there?

Just like to point out I would expect the torpedoes to detonate at about the same range as the ship you are attacking is at. This would also make tricobalt carpet, more of a carpet.
