Toggle HUD?

Hey all,

I was wandering if a feature could be implemented where you can togggle a universal HUD?
It sounds pathetic, but I rarely play as Klingons because I'm not a fan of the bright red HUD 

The ability to toggle a bland universal HUD for all races would be awesome

Wouldn't that kinda defeat the idea of making them unique? It will look like SFC3...

Personally, I think that the lack of uniqueness should be limited to buttons.

there isnt much comment on this because its a very small topic, nobody gets passionate about it.

i wouldnt be opposed to it as long as it's an option lol. a choice, for personal preferences. but i think it should definitely be low priority.

u can always just make a universal gui if u feel that way aslong as u only alter the gui texture file and non of the gui coding it shud still work online with ppl who aint dne it

I have a universal GUI if you want it. its modeled after the feds, but universal, and silver if you want it.  I'l post a pic if you are interested.

Heh, this is what I got.  I could make it gold-ish if you want though.  Infact, fold might fit my theme better too.

Actually, I can make it whatever color you want very easily(thanks dev team for the format.  Very easy to edit )

you like any of these, or would a better color be better?

well...I could replace the klingon one for you if you want.  you just want a texture that will replace the one ingame? 

also, I can make it whatever color you want, give it effects, ect.

I'd quite like that silver one you presented for all the races actually if that's possible?

Well, like the blue glow and boxes.  you want blue for feds, red for klingons, dark green for romies, light green for borg and purple for dominion?  cus I can do that.

Or just a standard black and white for all races.  whatever you want.

actually, it will be quite simple.  just put the files in the right folder and overwrite the ones already there and it should work.  I"ll post it in the complete modding section when complete.
