Hi there.^^
The Miranda-II may be a fitting ship in the timeline of FO, but other predecessors are included in the mod, so here comes my idea:
The Saber-Class gets better shielding and a faster (but not stronger) Phaser so that she gets between the Monsoon and the Intrepid in the yard.
The Miranda gets included with lower speed than the Saber and is now the light federation-destroyer. She should be refittable like the Rhienn; the basic ship is the one we saw sometimes in TNG, without additions. The Phaser-variant would be the one from DS9:emissary and the torpedo-variant is the one like from ST II or the most other encounters in the shows.
How about that idea?

Best formula I can think of is this. If it was the best of the best 100 years ago and grossly mass-produced...it might become a warpin. Really, this is the Excelsior. I'd say slim chance of Oberth, though the odds of them warping that into a warzone really aren't so good.
This leaves, out of 'older' ships...
Galaxy - check
Ambassador - check
Excelsior - check
Oberth - nope, but not real likely either
Everything else is comparatively new. Unlikely to see any Constitutions either, even though there was some muttering that a few of them had been unmothballed during the Dominion war to putter around the other side of fed space and try to at least keep some kind of fed presence there. Most likely, they went right back into mothballs the first chance starfleet got.

Perhaps you might find this useful RedEyedRaven
(from the guide)

In the Fleet Operations timeline, the original Miranda is no longer in active Starfleet service. These ancient vessels were disassembled, destroyed during the Dominion War (you see hundreds of Mirandas explode), or were damaged beyond repair or salvage operations. Thus they are now left in a lonely scrapyard somewhere in the galaxy. The Miranda will not become a Warp-In, as it was already old and obsolete by the time even the Excelsior was produced. It's like fielding a catapult in modern warfare. The Miranda will appear some day, but neither as a buildable nor as a warp-in craft.

If you want a Miranda, check the 'Modding' section for a stand-alone addon. There's one there.
There is no 'Phaser-varient'... the Saratoga had Sensor pods.

Well, doesn't matter anyways. If the Miranda isn't at service anymore I just didn't get the info before I asked. So it's okay to me now
And where can I get the guide now? The last times I tried to download it, the links were dead.

Aye, the only things missing from the online guide will be the tech trees and some of the specialized information regarding each ship (the unit overviews are not complete). The pdf is still downloadable in the official FO downloads section for that purpose however
