What if for the rommies refitting were slightly cheaper the more experience the ship had?

Take for example (warning, this may not be accurate assumptions, this is for examples!) refitting to a frigate refit of the Generix:

What do you guys think? It doesn't have to be at this rate precisely, it is simply an idea. It could decrease slower than this upon ranking if it means more balance. But to me the general Idea can really make ranking up more worthwhile for those who like starting with their basic units and then choosing their refits afterward.

lawl obviously, and its cheaper to build them first. but my point is most people will refit them straight after they are built. as refit gens are so much more useful than unrefitted.

In my idea, this would also apply to the Rhienns, and any other ships that would be able to be refitted either currently or in future patches.

yeah, rhienns would rank up before their refits were researched.

i almost dont like refitting rhienns, cos they are so cool unrefitted. i mean if your enemy spams intreps, monsoons, brels, kvorts or anything short ranged and u have a quick finger u can ignore 80% of damage

But with pulse rheins, or torpedo reins, you can incinerate them with their special >D

I understand that they'd usually be ranked up before you even research the refits. That is why they'd get a lot less of a decrease in cost (maybe have the costs remain the same until Rank 3).
