The Change To The Duras Avatar

Why on earth do they wanna change it so the attack bonus is changed from 3 to 2

im sorry but the klingon avatars arent really that good compared to the others and that was the only thing that made me wanna play as them as the bops n kvorts were actually good

MArtok to be honest doesnt have much going for him other than the Luspet

i think they need to be seriously reworked and sorted out

actually when massed klingon bops and k'vorts are unstopable, so a rework is definitly in order

In the preV3 patch changelist :)
As Ive told u yesterday over MSN, there was NO way to stop a mass of bops early on b4 no matter what u did. Hell even now its a pain in the neck and u really need to know what your doin if you want to stop them. You know this of course ;) I mean why would u want to unbalance the game anyway :mellow:

Now I know they were unbalanced b4 because we tested that on numerous occasions and there was just no stopping them. And u weren't playing b4, at least not frequent enough on MP so you can not know ;)

Think about procentage vise how much this adds to its attack. 2 from 13 (I think) is 15,4% which is a BIG increase. Compare this to Martoks bonus to NeghVar where it increases its defence by 4 (from 36 to 40) which is an increase of 11,1%. So u see relatively its a very big increase of its offence ;) (before it was 23,1% :o)

What Im trying to say is, dont **** something up thats already been fixed ;).

Also Klingon avatars dont suck lol, Duras gives A LOT of bonuses for your early game plus 2 cool units in the arty and Charg.
Martok gives more bonuses to your battleships and cruisers, with its bonuses effecting the NeghVar the most :) and again 2 cool units in Luspet and Susa.

About the part that you can't stop them; hmm yes this is true, so DID they already changed this OR is this a thing THAT has to be DONE ?????? That's the only thing i wanted to know;
I have to agree a little with Adil here, since the Duras Avatar is "easier" to play as the Martok one, but in the end I think that the Klingon are the "easiest" race to play at all in Flops; about the rest that probably depends on the map size (i think dom has serious disadvantage on smaller maps since they have to sacrifice some of their "ressources" for the supplies;

If you didn't meant me than can( i mean ignore them :) ) the first paragraph; I was still confused about the first post of adil since i haven't read any news from Doc or Optec about tweaking the duras avatar for the V3 Final version.

this is what i mean

all it does is nerf the klingons and make everyone better except for the martok plus of construction cost but that is hardly fair

Oh, I was looking at the wrong changelog then. The preV3 patch one :)
It seems u were right there Adil, the Klingons do get downgraded a bit. I think that is unnecessary as they are ok right now. Granted its hard to fight against them early on, but its not impossible :)
Maybe only the con cost downgrade is justified, other not so much :)
