Plus it's nearly 100 degrees on board a Borg ship, that alone would make me stay at tactical then beam aboard :D

lol, yea, it sucks without sound

but @ tmp, thought it was 34°C on a borg ship... am i missing something? that would be around 80-90°F or am i wrong?

yep i think in first contact they say something like 34°C. "Almost like on a borg vessel"

Well in fahrenheit, they said on first contact that the Borg were making the Enterprise's temperature 99.1 I think, and Someone said thats the temperature on a borg ship.

Yea thats what picard said "Almost like a borg ship"
So they are getting a complete change in version 4, ok is the balancing changes still going ahead for borg on version 3? like having the ships stronger, faster to build and everything like that? I saw a topic before saying about this

of course they have been balanced for 3.0 as well
(by the way what makes you believe balancing is always linked to improvements? :) but the borg got some)

I dont think its always linked to improvements I said it in that way cos I saw on the topic before that people were saying that they were either too weak or too slow on building

Optec, will each ships temperature be 99.1 in 4.0? :D

Little hint: Track 8 on the First Contact soundtrack CD is called "39.1 DEGREES CELSIUS"... any questions? :D

And that would be 102.38°F.

Well, it may be that Jerry Goldsmith had an early draft of the script, but I would rather go with the presumption that he knew why he names the piece of music 39.1°C.

But I will check the DVD right know. :D

Edit: Ok, it's on the DVD in chapter 9. which is called "39.1 Degrees Celsius", the exact dialogue is:

Picard: "Mr. Hawk! When we lost internal sensors, what were the exact environmental conditions in main engineering?"

Hawk: "Atmosphere pressure was 2 kilopascals above normal, 92% humidity, 39.1 degrees Celsius."

Picard: "39.1 degrees Celsius ... like a Borg ship."

But maybe my DVD is wrong, I'll go back in time and check the cinema, wait a moment... B)
