Is there any way that an option could be added to the setup to turn of the camera shake that happens when large things explode?  I am finding it to be really obnoxious rather than a cool effect.

You should have seen it during the early days of the beta, but yes making optional would be very nice indeed.

we are thinking about disabling it with one of the next versions. the 'shake' didn't play out the way we wanted, it is indeed more annoying when placing structures or targeting vessels than useful by supporting the atmosphere.

Thank you :D . Soooo frustrating in battles sometimes. "Fun" when something really big blows up - but only when you are watching and not actually playing I'm afraid  :sweatdrop:

Turn it on when in observer mode....or perhaps when you are in that camera mode.....the one that you can move around in all 3 dimensions.  Sorry, don't remember what its called.

Yes I would like to see an option to turn rumble explosions off or maybe turn them down via a slider....if that is too much work then perhaps its best just to eliminate them for now as I find the rumble very anoying as well.

I just hit the Caps Lock button to solve that. A selectable option would be cool though.

I find it a very good feature. The only time it could cause problems of micro management is when there is a really big boom of many things going on. But when that happens you have so many ships you give a shit on microing... the game is usually over then while a huge fleet is taking out the base. I don't see any problem on that one...

I'd vote for a keyboard shortcut and menu-option to toggle it on/off

it will be removed from most explosions with the next patch. the shake for 'regular' explosions will come back if we have a technical solution to make the shake less game play disruptive than it is now.

I think a slider as suggested would be good. I'd still like the feature, just not as extreme

we'll keep the current effect when really big stuff explodes for now. no optional settings in this case. i promise it will return full scale when some technical aspects have been solved.
