Supply ships

A cosmetic request in 2 parts
[align=center]Part 1 - Buying Supply[/align]
When you buy supply for any race that can, a supply ship warps in, your supply increases as the supply was transported, then it warps out. Maybe it could dock with your starbase, would be more work though.
Warping in then out could work like current warpins for feds. The supply ship comes in, but it will always violate the supply ship cap, and warp out.
The model used could be interesting. Miners seem to fit. Maybe old ships like mirandas/soyuz?
This way we get a more interesting way of the supply getting into your coffers, but without the problems of supply transports being killed before arrival.
[align=center]Part 2 - Random Crew Transport Ships[/align]
Crew is infinite, so every now and then a ship comes along and drops off crew. You don't notice crew counts or anything, and you can never control the ships. They warp in, then warp out.
Maybe normal buildables and warpins models could be used for this. Galaxies can carry large crew, the enterprise D did this sorta stuff to DS9.

I would really love sth like that. It would really give the game more atmosphere, the feeling that you really belong to a larger empire that supports your actions in the sector. I'd like to see freighters to do that, not little old ships(like Miranda), we saw Klingon Freighters, Fed freighters, for the Dominion Karemma could do it. Borg don't really need it, they assimilate crew and produce supplies.
We didn't see a Romulan transport in the shows, but maybe one of their shuttles could decloak every now and then to bring crew.

borg cant buy supply so they would never get supply delivery lol. i agree on the crew thing. i dont think they should get ships bringing stuff in.
i think a miranda or two could do it, we saw them doing mundane things in tng.
karemma style ships for dom is a good idea.
romulan transports decloaking would be nice too.

Miranda would be perfect for the role, the Lantree varient is classed as a 'Class-6 supply ship'.
