Supply idea

Had an interesting thought about how unrealistic supplies are obtained. I think instead of an instant purchase supplies should arrive at the starbase from say 3 cargo ships that come from the closest edge of the map and impulse their way to the starbase and unload supply. The cargo ships would be npc vessels of your corresponding race and can be manually targeted by enemy vessels. This creates a need to protect supply lines and can allow blockades as well. Love to hear some thoughts, I know some people won't like this cause it will mess with their strategy.

we have some similar ideas for the future, but targetable supplies would cause unfair advantages on some maps, so that wont be implemented ^-^ but yep, the current supply system is about to change

Yes I think this is a great idea! This might be a reason to reintroduce the trade station. You could buy supplies from it instead of your starbase. And another cool thing to gradualy increase supply over time would be cargo ships going back and forth to your ally.  :woot:
