Subspace damage (nebula)

Post ideas and suggestions on new features or improvements here.

Have a 'nebula' that periodically disable engines. (warp - if it ever comes back - would grown this nebula)

Yeah except newer ships were designed not to damage subspace and older ships were refit. So I dont see how that would be a problem anymore.  :sweatdrop:

That's a Warp limitation that only applies to 2 known areas. What are the chances most FO ships are going to warp or those 2 places?

actually starfleet imposed its speed limit of warp 5 on all starfleet ships, anywhere. except in emergencies.

some people think that voyager's tilting nacelles were to stop the damage, explaining why voyager could break the limit.

i never liked the silly tilting nacelles. why not just leave them up all the time if they are better that way?

its also quite possible janeway was impatient and didnt give a s**t about the speed limit. she ignored the prime directive enough.

I know, but Warp wouldn't be disabled anywhere else like was suggested. Subspace damage wouldn't disable anything if it's not damaged.

I can see Janeway not caring, she was quite two-faced about the Rules.
