Starbase avatar bonuses

Advanced shuttlebays for a starbase sounds cool and makes sense, however starbases could require a seperate thread then  :sweatdrop:

I'll add a quote with a post which mentions starbase weapons:

as long as each stage did roughly the same dps, with the primary weapons doing exactly the same dps for balancing reasons, then it would be fine by me.

maybe a fighter detachment could be a separate upgrade for risner, and runabouts for mayson. as suggested before.

i think magnan should stay on phalanx. its too unique.

I'd keepat least 1 weapon the same as normal. Mayson may have access to slightly different tech, but Starfleet would only allow so much customization of their ships. There's still a standard to keep in mind.

I'd suggest the following way;

Mayson's base gets quantum pulse instead of normal pulse by default.
Risner's base gets the weapons as they are now, and in addition the passive 'advanced shuttlebays' as suggested before.
It does make alot of sense that the outposts would have the capacities to support carrierless fighters, and may be the devs implement a way to transfer fighters from carriers to ships (and if ever outposts) with advanced shuttlebays some day. I suggest using the shuttlebay-passives for the dominion starbases as well.
