Star Trek Fleet operations online

Mad Doc Software, LLC has been bought out by Rockstar games in 2008 and it looks like star trek armada is dead with no future expansion or sequels coming out.

So I had an interesting thought I could look into seeing if it's possible to take Star Trek Armada II Fleet operations and convert it into an online game and use the material that was made for this mod in this new project.

Just asking I won't do it unless I get the go ahead

What if i tell you, that it's already possible to play it online...

I know that I am talking about one that don't need the game disc that any one can play online.
Sort of like the many other online games that you can play with out having a disc for.

Plus one built off it's own unique game engine.
To sort of see where it go's.
