I was just wondering, shouldn't the Dominion have those abilities, too? They do in the show and are even better than even the Tal Shiar & Obsidion order!

hm, in my opinion the tal'shiar is still the most complex spionage network in the quadrant and it just fits the romulan style

While the Dominion had extrensie knowlage of the Alpha quadrent and it's histroy without even going there, the Romulans had very little knowlage of the Gamma quadrent. The Dominion also caused wars between several races, even the Fedreation & Klingons, something that the Romulans tried and failed several times.

The Romulans are best at staying hidden and running like cowards, but for spying and espionage they are about as good as the Borg compared to the Dominion. Even Section 31 has had better results than the Tal Shiar.

You could give the Dominion similar abilities, but with the ability to cause (minor) damage to civil ships due to their more ruthless and uncaring nature.

Well IMO its pretty obvious that the Founders make better spys than anyone. And Im sure they could do what Romulans can do.
However when talking about the charasteristic signs of a race u cannot deny that the first thing u think of when thinking about Romulans is espionage, sneakiness, cunningness,... So the intel center suits them perfectly and IMO its correct that they have it.

But I do agree with you to a degree and I think the Dominion should have a founder special ability. To infiltrate or whatever. Im sure the FO team could come up with something
Plus u cant really say the Dominion didnt get cool stuff in v3 (compared to preV3). The Dreadnought is fucking awesome and that troop ship is also very very handy to deal with smaller/medium threats. I really like that ship.
