Special Weapons

When playing, i often have a hard time detecting that special weapons have fired correctly. It would be nice to have the button blink or something to indicate that the weapon fired correctly. Also, it would be nice if special weapon buttons were disabled when they are A: reloading, or B: the ship has insufficient special energy to fire the weapon.

Totally agreed, would be nice, i don´t think it is that hard to do (though i have no clue about modding  :sweatdrop: ).

Sins of a Solar empire has things like this to take it into account and there are plenty of mods for that so i wouldn't imagine its impossible to do??

SOSE is a very easy engine to mod and the dev released an SDK. However the creators of A2 were not so far sighted and they did no such thing, so its hard to say wither or not it could be done.

either way it only has to do with the hard coded lights, and they have proven in the past that it is possible to change these aspects.
