Sound! Full Volume, Mr. Worf!

Dunno if this has been thought about (or is it implemented and my ears are just lousy? ) but this is a little something I did at the times of my old A2 modding days (days without A2 modding: 124):

Background sounds for Starships

It's simple, accomplished in a single command line in the ship's odf, it takes only a few small sound files and puts a managable strain on sound cards everywhere!
In case you're wondering: I'm talking about the low rumbling of a ship's engines, just loud enough to hear it when you zoom in.

I've had low, deep noises for large ships, and somewhat lighter ones for the small ones, as well as individual sounds for each race. I also mixed a sound file for the Borg, a mixture of whispering noises, yes, when I played, I could hear the collective talk. Just like Picard!

Your thoughts?

Hear: the Federation large ship ambient sound (attached).
I'd need to mix a new one for the Borg, it doesn't sound that good.

aww man this Idea is awsom like wispering when you are borg I dont think borg ships have impulse I think they use gravaton engions

awesome i can't wait for the borg one, also DOCA OR OPTEC can we have this in V3 it only takes one line of editing it won't take long to do?!

whoa, i thought we had it in, never thought about it when zoomed in anymore. i am not sure why we left it out for some reason in an earlier version. i will check
