Single Player

Is there going to be a "campaing" or single player missions like the normal armada and armada2?

No, i don't think there will be a campaign. if i remember correctly they previosly said no about this

They wanted to do it, but there are limitations in the A2 shell whereby they cant script new missions.

Ive been going crazy asking for the Cardies. I even went as far as concocting my own shitty version of storyline to get them in - refer to the "rework of the Dominion breen avatar" thread page2. 
Hey, we bugged them long enough for the Dom Dreadnought and they finally gave it to us, so I guess if there are enough requests they'll try to include the cardies.

vaguely recollect from an older post sometime in 2008 jan-feb or maybe even dec 2007. it's been talked about, you'll need to skim through the posts in the forum.

now with the dominion in place, there can be a campaign like DS9 series. the battles there were astougnishing

I think they have plans for it but it won't come for a long time. As far as I know there is no editor that allows for scripting of events that take place in single player missions, though with the right tech-geek I have no doubt someone could throw together a custom made editor that could serve the function.
