Shuttles, More Wessels, And Older Models

i was going to propose a scrap yard for races on maps a con-con varrent yayd that would buils ships like miranda con refit constalition excel and then a com scrap with bop and d-7 and a kling scrap yard with the older bops and some of those cooler ships from enterprise and of corse a d-11 swift wing

i cant understand why u all think these old bunch of ships are cool, tho. i dont like the TOS ships that much from their design. i like the TNG ships more than that.

No yard is still making galaxies either Optec, and there are still 50 Excelsiors and some 100 Mirandas left in the Federation fleet, as well as 30 D-7s left in the Klingon fleet, compared to the 10 Galaxies, christ...I feel like i'm taking crazy pills whenever we talk about this subject, because there are no good arguments against it.

well the D-7 is an old ship the klingons have a bettert version now so we cant do much the miranda and her varrents are still in working order and the excelisors are still widaly used because of their use of a diplomatic and rush type ship

D-7 could be used in conjunction with the BoP and it could be another starter ship for the Klingons, since all they have is 3. Basically a crappier, cheaper K'tinga.

Your not building galaxies though, your warping them in from another sector, and you cant ahve more than what like 5 is it any way.

Yep, no Yard does build Galaxies and Nebulas. That's why they are for warp-in. No FO Yard is still building Galaxies, too. Steam Runners are in the Wapr in List cause they were produced only in very low numbers and are not part of a usual construction program.
But Excelsior and Miranda Class vessels are no longer in active Starfleet Service. They got disassembled, destroyed during the Dominion War or were damaged beyond repair and salvage so they are now left on a lonley scrapyard somewhere in the galaxy.

but i am ok with that but i whood like to keep tham in the game as NPC or darilects along with some d7s.

is it posabul to put some cardaseon ships in as NPC?

Omg, there ARE MIRANDAS AND EXCELSIORS STILL IN SERVICE. I have never seen ANYTHING that said they weren't. Expecially the excelsiors, I mean christ there were 50 of these things still left after the Dom war, and they are alot newer then Mirandas, I am litterally feeling sick now from having to say this OVER AGAIN. I swear to god, throw me a bone here...

OMG². They were in service during the Dominion War, cause they were still in their service period. We KNOW that starfleet vessels usually get dismissed after 2 -3 operation periods (look at the good old Enterprise for example). In 2380 (where FO takes place) all Excelsior and Miranda Class vessels are out of date.

I swear to god, believe me. After all I made the FO story line.

As far as I know, almost all were destroyed in the dominion war others were dismatled.

Now that thats out of the way, I have apparently annoyed optec, something I personally didn't think was possible. Optec, what will I need to do to change your opinion? Did we not make our own idea about a new avatar that has these ships as well as some other things? An avatar dedicated to dominion war ships? Instead of new buildings and stuff maybe all they get is ships used by the feds in the dominion wars, a good rushing fed avatar but it could cost em later.

Yep, there will perhaps be a Federation Avatar that features old vessels but usualy they will be available as neutral units or npc vessels (for example the McCinley Yard already available in the map editor)

That's wrong dude, "Speed" must be the speed of light (or c).
