Why should the Venture be replaced, you ask?

#1: We don't even know that its a scout
#2: Its too small to fit 10 people
#3: Its too small to be a long-range scout
#4: Its smaller than the Delta Flier

I think by v4 the Delta Flyer could simply replace the Venture as a scout,
considering
we'll driving them to work by the time v4 hits.

I'd say something like the Nova or something should replace it. The Venture is just a light transport, the Nova is a starship.

er no the venture was the ship that data was in, in "insurrection". it was like a large shuttle, except it looked far more streamlinned (hinting of atmospheric duties)

i like it, its cannon, although the name Venture has never been given, its likeness is unmistakeable. leave it as it is i say.

oh yeah, forgot to add, id say it would be slightly larger than the delta flier, dont forget that the DF had to be small enough to dock with voyager, plus i'd say 10 people should be able to squeeze in. (i always lower the crew cost myself anyway)

phh... the venture isnt' there for realism, it is an armada tradition to use the venture, no explantion needed, granted I like the runabout more, but the venture is a very defintion of what we know as armada, I swear I think it is one of the few models they used for both armada 1 and 2 plus really is it worth it to ask the fleetops guys to do more, when it is really pointless, I mean how many poeple actually pay attention to their venture classes I mean really?

Actually, I think that the Akira and Sovy are closer to being "traditions"...

Name one Star Trek-based Armada 2 mod that doesn't use the Akira or Sovy
