Shipyard Floodlights

Each shipyard has a series of floodlights that (in the show) would have been used to lightup the ship, is it possible that they could be set to actually illuminate the ship being built?

On the floodlight subject, are there going to be any added to Starfleet ships?

model wise they are already there on FO yards, but we are currently thinking how that could be done dynamically (to actually illuminate the target). might become possible with one of the engines updates planed for the future, but at the moment it seems impossible
