Ship selection

Not really a new request, and it may be in for version 3, but.
I found that when Cnt-clicking or double clicking my ships it will select some of my fleeted ships.
If i recall it used to be that you could select a fleet, number then, then cnt-click on some unfleet ship and make a new fleet. made fleeting way easer.
is this coming back?    am i just missing something?

hm, you should still be able to form teams by ctrl+any number. doubleclicking selects all units of the same type on your screen

yes...maby i didnt describe it well. ok lets say i have 32 ships that i want to fleet. I double click and select 16 of them make them fleet one. then i double click again.  only this time it selects 6 no fleet ships and 10 fleet one ships. so to fleet i have to move fleet one off screen and then double click, or move them and drag and click.

ah i see what you mean to have an options to not include ships in double-click selection that are already in a fleet. we will have a look at it

what i have all ways wanted was the ability to select more ships like 32 or more i know this is in the coding but FO has done allot of stuff that we thought was not possible before maby they could

true but without making the interface bigger to compensate you will only see the status of the first 16 ships in a fleet, making it too big may well just get in the way of the action.

true but in most games nowadays they show how many of each type of ship you have selected and health bars under them on the action screen so i think it would be possible to make the health bars always on we could do this for a more moder approach
