Selecting multiple stations

Heya guys.  I've been visiting this site for about 6 months but never had a reason to contribute before. Anyway I'm not big on introductions so here's my idea.

Would it be possible to be able to select multiple stations (Specifically turrets) as I feel that this would make managing base defences far easier than the current practice of having to select and target each individual defence turret.

Is it possible?, Is it planned for a future release? and if not then why???

Thanks a lot guys. I know you hear this a lot but I am really a fan of everything you're doing here.

we thought about that alredy. it would be hard displaywise to handle multiple producing stations to be selected, but we want to take a look into turrets in particular

If you can dig enough into the UI, couldnt you expand the ship display item and show a mini-queue in a stack rising off of each icon when production stations are selected?
