Seatle Class, Can it go somewhere?

I was wondering if there is room for the Seatle class starship. You know, an Advanced cruiser, or another Mixed tech design, any place at all? Because to me she looks like a young ship waiting for her maiden voyage on Fleet Ops.

Anyway, here are some nice stats that look fitting.

Ship Type: Heavy Destroyer

Stats:
Offensive: 16
Defensive: 21
System: 10

- Phaser
- Torpedo

Range: Medium

No, I don't think so. Besides I got this image from Ronin Design (R) somewhere in 03 or 04. But I think it would go great in FO.

(Edit) Okay..... Maybe, but the Seatle Class was what it was named when I got it. So that is the name I go by.

Either way I like it and maybe we can bring it back from the trash bin of old models? Give it the real name, new textures, and have the model rebuilt to better fit the image? Besides this ship is gonna need good light maps. Doca, Optec, Overlord? Any of you in favor? I might help by tring to build some odf's for the ship.

yea we used the design for the Canaveral in the first place, but after a while we got sick of it, as it doesn't look that trecky, so we abondend it

Oh....

I was hoping it could be brought back with better model and textures paired with perfected lightmaps...

Can you give me a copy and maybe I can work on it to make it better? Maybe it can be reconsidered if I put up shots of a newly worked model.

The only thing is I have no modeling experience... but I'm sure I can find my way around that problem.

You could download an earlier version of the game and take the SOD from there? Add it manually?

sadly the file data is lost due to a harddisk failure (and a very bad backup policy on my end back those days) so yep, as Tyler already pointed out, you have to get the old FO version, sorry

I was never a great fan of the old Canaveral unfortunately. It looks like it's been punched in the face with toothbrush handles for nacelles

They'd be perfect in a fight! Everyone hates the dentist (well, except me but then my dentist is HOT).
