I read recently that the warp-in system might be changed, or at least that people wanted to have different ships, so I thought I would introduce a new ship; namely the Ronin IIhttp://www.ussprospero.com/ship.htm.

I think she is quite a powerful ship, and one could possibly implement the refit system as well, since she has the modular equipment pods. So, when one ship would arrive, the owner could designate which pod would be attached, and as such, there could be a combat refit, a support refit, and so on...

What do you think?

It looks like an interesting ship.  However, with it being 80% as good as a Sovereign, I think it might be a bit too powerful, especially with refits, unless it had a similar system to the Descent.

Well, you were partially right about the second half at least  :sweatdrop:

The Warp-In system will not change, but another experimental vessel will be added at some point :)

EDIT: as for the ship itself - I am not too interested in the design. I'd rather the Devs add something they've come up with when they add the new vessel, rather than this not very TNG-like design  :sweatdrop:

:o nooo, how can you not like it?? :D I rather liked the design  :pinch:... But something new would be just as awesome! Didn't know the Devs were making one...

well with it being called the experimental warpin and not descent warpin. it makes sense that there would be more than one available. I love the impulse engines on that thing but im not so sure about the rest.

Well, I do like the design - but I don't find it particularly to be of the same vein as the other Fleet Ops Federation vessels  :sweatdrop:

AAAhhhhhh... Well here is a second idea, why not make the Nebula be able to have different refits... In the spirit of the upcoming update, one refit could be equipped with a Tachyon-Graviton Ping, for example...

The Nebula is having two refit forms I believe, don't ask me which though :P

I'd love to see an intrepid with the endgame armor as special weapon added as warp in.
Armor uses special energy, slows down ROF.
The added armor strength would allow the federation to finally scout behind heavy defenses.

Right now the feds lack a true scout option with the lack of cloaking devices

 The basic Venture works fine if you upgrade sensors: it's got an absolutely amazing sight range then  :whistling:

Actually, it is an eye-catching ship. And I am amazed when I read the capacity of this ship. This is a great ship I would say.
