It would be fun if the Romulans could plant a bomb on an enemy ship, the same way they plant a spy. The goal would be to get it back to the enemies repair dock and then detonate, doing more damage to more ships and the base.
This could be done by a timer (a one minute, maybe). Or this could be done through remote control. Perhaps the Romulans could see where the ship is and press a button to blow it up at the right time, taking out plenty of collateral damage as well.

Absolutely. Sounds like a positively Romulan strategy to me.

While I greatly enjoy playing the Romulans and using the sabotage feature, it feels quite a bit too powerful. It feels more like an assassin, taking a shot. I woudl guess that there should be some significant delay between beaming a sabotager onboard, and having him or her do their dirty work.

I'd like to see sabo be 3 credits, useable from Tal Shiar facility, it sends a shuttle to the selected enemy ship or station, and 5 seconds after the agent lands the shuttle, it comes screaming out again and the object explodes.

sounds more like a terroist to me

i don't think that the Romulans are like that

and the already got sabotage, so why should add a feature that is already in the game

Yep, planting a bomb is very similiar to sabotage.

I like the bomb idea. What if for 100 special energy a shuttle left the station whent to a enemy station planted a bomb came back out and in about 5 secounds the station blows up. But
A)The shuttle could get blown up enroute wasting all the staions special energy and losing ten crew( They were on the shuttle.)
There is a 20% chance that the bomb will be a dude.
C)A repair ship or a repair team will deactivate the bomb.

I like the idea of Romulan weapons taking careful planning and a strong knowledge of the enemy actions, but when used well are devestating.
I was thinking it would be fun to have a "trap," a place in empty space that one minute after it is built, explodes with devestating consequences. The nice part about it is that it is useless unless the romulans can predict where an enemy fleet will be, and plan accordingly.
Consequenlty, I think the special ability of seeing where every ship is at this point is probably too powerful, not for the game as is, but for the game as it could be.

but is not sabotage the same thing?
wozabout having a shuttle go from the sabotage station to the target to blow it up?

I think using this bomb idea to destroy something is too strong....severly crippling/ disabling the ship/station is more Romulan in nature. Having the the saboteur take the shuttle to the enemy ship or station and when it detonates, disables systems and damages the hull...the problem is you would only want to use this in a small battle, not a large one, and the shuttle would have to have a cloak.. would be much sneakier in battle.
