Just a quick one!
Any chance of seeing the Klingon torpedoes returning to Red again? I don't know about other people, but it doesn't feel all that Klingon to me. When i think about TOS and the feature films, red torpedoes were the waay to go!

actually the films had different coloured torps. they couldnt make up their mind either.
as the most recent canon sources have klink weapons being mostly green i think the current system is most realistic.

I would like to see rainbow colored torp volleys
But red ones for Klingons seem ok for me.

As far as I recall, Optec did say red beams/torps would return in the case of special weapons. Take the Shield Breaking Torpedo for instance
. Right now they are just favoring the DS9 style for Klingon weapons, in the same light as favoring that style for Romuland and Federation weapons too.

I was sure they said conventional weapon color would vary, with some ships having red and some green. That is how DS9 did Klingon weapons, with both colors appearing in the same scene.

actually they identified the vessel in VOY: Prophecy as a D7 class, alhtough i believe they intended it to be a ktinga.
and it never fired a beam on screen. its weapons looked like torps, clearly the effect was a torpedo visual, but the dialogue said they were disruptors. these "disruptors" that looked like torps were green.
then voyager fired phasers from a torpedo tube

A ship that used at least 93 of its 40 "irreplacible" torpedos and somehow spontaneously generated new crewmembers and shuttles as well, either Janeway wanted more Dakka for when she got angry or the Voyager wizard strikes again!
Back on topic: I like the red torpedos better as they give more color variety to Klingon weapons. Probably the best place for red torpedos to make a comeback would be on the unranked K'Tinga, with higher rank (double silver maybe, as K'Tinga don't exactly reach officer very often) getting a newer, better, green torpedo.

lol its possible to explain all of those if u are a trek rationaliser.
1) maybe voyager bought some torps off one of the surly aliens in the delta quadrant?
2) maybe torred figured out a way to build some more, like in the omega ep.
3) maybe they built more shuttles
so chakotay could crash them some more.
4) maybe janeway cloned crewmen?
i agree though, voyager made very little sense most of the time.

Personally I'd like that too, though if you don't read into Optec's quote, he said simply special weapons

They can always change their minds as well. I don't care what color they are, so long as they destroy my enemy.
