The way that the borg miner places its station can be frustrating sometimes if it gets placed too close to the edge of the map or moon or something.

is it possible to allow the miner to build the node like a con ship would build, so that u can get a footprint and select the location yourself.

all i desire is a way to choose the exact place a node gets placed. to remove any chance of miners getting stuck.

aye, we are currently working on a large-scale borg redo removing this and a few other usability glitches (like having to rebuild your uplinks all the time)
