Replaceweapon for Monsoon, along with idea for Borg Mixed-Te

Okay, so you know how the Monsoon fires two phasers at short range, right? Weeell, could you guys make a replaceweapon for the Monsoon that combines the two phasers, and makes it one phaser that fires at long range? The power of the long-range phaser would remain the same as one short-range phaser, to balance things. This would most likely make the Monsoon more appealing to Mayson players, and even more useful to Risner players, considering that your extremely valuable Monsoons are capable of long-range bombardment, while your Intrepids manage close-quarters.


And now, my idea for the Mixed-Tech Borg Monsoon. Please add an Anti-Photon (or watever it's called now  ) Torpedo to the thing. Although it wouldn't help much except for early game, combine this with my previous idea mentioned, and the Tactical Armor, and you've got a -for the most part- useful Mixed-Tech Borg Monsoon!

Hm, i think the current profile of the Monsoon is quite powerful. We are just discussing and testing some fundamental balancing changes, to change the way weaponrange and some other stuff is handeled, and to bring in some new dynamic for vessels.. i will inform you as soon as we have completed all tests and the first parts are implemented (given they pass the tests and seem to be fun )
