Refit Old Ships With Beter Wepinds.

the old ships normaly whood have rely crapy wepinds that look difrant than the ones used naw.

i whood like to see a butin on tham that whood say refit. this whood relace the old wepinds with new ones.


lets say you are playing as the romulens and you find a fed ship and refit it. it will than have romulan wepinds.

enay ship that is fawnd and refited will take the wepind sitoms of that race.

i dont know if this is posabul. if it is it whood be realy neet.

after cliking the refit butin the ship gos back to your ship yard whare its givn the new wepind sytoms

Yeah i've asked for this. Have more ships able to upgrade like the Rhiens.

nope, the rhienn-like upgrade will remain rhienn-only.. but wait for v4, we will have something cooooler there

I would actually give old ships newer looking textures and up-to-date weaponry!

will thare be no comat ships. like a scool buss ship and maby privit small sutals with lital or no wepinds.

thay cood be used i a trading colany map.

sins the mersonary thred was locked i am pigy backing on this thred.

what kind of "old ships" are we talkin about here? i dont want no TOS ships in this mod

What might make some sense is a field of some sort that cripples all new ships (built in the TNG era), but not ship from TOS. Now, also in the field is great resources, or whatever. It would then make sense for an empire to dig into the comptuer files and pull up the plans for the old ships to take advantage of this strategic resource.

I dunno, I saw it in TWoK and it was an ingenius design. A long hull life, high adaptability, and some pretty good weapons for a ship of it's size makes it kinda a good ship in my mind. One of the many ships I feel is missing from FO.
