Pretty Sector Contest

I was looking at a Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds fan site and I saw that they were holding a Pretty Planet Contest.

I thought prehaps that this might be something fun for the FleetOps fans such as myself to do.

For example, all that is required is a certian size map with features to make it look good like making a nice array of planets with nebula, lighting and other objects. No scripts required, and all that a enteree need to do is email it off to a certian address and fans download them and vote on who's map is the best.

Just an idea. I would like any opinions. ^_^

I'm not a big multi-player person and I just got the internet. (No more going to public computers to get on Fleetops.) But that might change concidering one my friends is challenging me to a battle. Why do you ask?

That might not be a bad idea but like I said, I'm not an expericed SWGB Multiplayer.

Its be fun to have all the entries put into a poll and have the whole forum vote on them for like a week. OT: just a lil FYI, herofest,senate,SWG, chronoball, and tatoine market gold/silver/platinum/deluxe, or frontline platinum(by old willie) are all maps/gameplay modes i recomend.

sounds like a "who creates the best map' contest, but i like the idea. that way we can get good maps with atmosphere, not that type o maps like "4 places-moons around it- kill eachother".

I'm also thinking if this doesn't work out then maybe a mission contest. Missions arn't hard to do if you know what your doing.
