I think it would be very useful if we could get a Ping button or a key shortcut supported with a ping sounrd in other to mark some important things on the map visible for allies. Since not everyone of the people is sitting in teamspeak.
I believe we had a ping in Armada1 or am I thinking of Sins of Solar Empire right now? Well I don't remember however it would be certainly useful so much is obvious.

i think this has been suggested before, i am for it. Just a general ping to get their attention. Might be hard to implement.
Maybe if a gui method cant be done, all units could get a special weapon that can target within a massive range, bigger than all maps, and causes the ping. So select any unit and use their special to ping. Costs no energy. Doesnt count towards cascade feedback
