as we all know in startrek7 the enterprise-b was cought in the nexus. scotty suggested a torp to excape but the b had no torps so they fired a photonic beam.
in the years starfleet was able to refine his idea into a powerful wepon a photonic wepon with derect fire this wepon equiped to the excelisorII dose emense dammage and will serve a counter ballance when it comes to lagger more powerful ships it dose 20 derect hull damage so it doesant need to go threw shilds

Excelsior already has a new special weapon idea for V3. Also the deflector dish was used to push the Excelsior-B, not the Excelsior II (not even real), out of that spacial destortion. It has nothing to do with ship vs ship combat.

The idea for a hull damaging weapon is ok I guess, but "photonic weaponry" is a laser, starfleet ditched those in the late 22nd century I believe, completely ineffective against shields of any kind.

Kirk - "Photon Torpedos....Load torpedo bays..prepare to fire at my command."

Kirk - "Don't tell me....Tuesday." - LOL I love that line!!! LOL

Scotty - "Captain, it might be possible to similate a torpedo blast using a resonance burst from the main deflector dish."

So as you see...it was a resonance burst...not a photonic resonator..not a fan of this idea..however something like this might not be bad..a different version might be for the galaxy class as a last ditch effort to stop say a Borg cube..like in BOBW where the Enterprise burns out the deflector when it fires at the Borg Cube..even though the weapon has no effect due to the Borg assimilating Picard and knowing every thing he knew. so if one were to use this weapon..the special energy would be drained and the shields and engines would be disabled.

Ok, so we make that ship that has it cost a bomb to build and if they fire the weapon then it can destroy anything. Finally the weapon should dissable the ship that uses it's weapons and engines for say 1:00 and its life support for 15 seconds.
I quite like this idea now

well my idea is baised on on it b ut si not the same it would be a last resort wepon you know like "oh no we are doomed" said commander...man...ly...man "NO we cant be we need to compleat our mission fire a wepon that will destroy the ship Both of us!" said caption karp. so in this senaro everyone looses

well i have a ton of super wepons left like matter loop, focased charged ion beam,
particla transfer cannon energy cannons pop cannons em wave resanance feild
a garan shock wave ans more pluse at least 3 races compleat and with story line origans leeders space ans stuff and atleast 27 non cannon romulan ideas
