Personalized symbols

(just putting it out there)

Allow people to select a symbol (on top of their color) ... ideally the symbol/color would show up on ship/building markings somewhere.

It would be cool not cannon but cool. The devs talked about making it so that there would be registry on ships, so when they figure that out they would be able to do this as well. Well at least i think...

Though I can't think of a way, it seems like it should be possible.  You could use the overlay sod to have colors overlaid on top of ships, but it would be very complicated to do...  I like the idea though.

well they said they were going to work on the registry names but as a low priority.
