Perimeter charges

This might sound strange, but is there any chance the Perimeter's charges could not be fixed?

The Dominion are a perfect example of a race that doesn't care about their ships and crew at all. Warships can be replaced easily while freighters are even easier to replace than any other race.

Lol the Dominion lose ships too quickly as it is now. Whats the point of a using a weapon that damages both you and the enemy when you already have weaker ships xD

Blimey!  I really can't wait for them to be fixed.  Was playing as Dom last night and stupidly researched the ability and started loosing ships that I had stupidly left too close to the Perimeters.

Actually .... I'm pretty sure that the AT Charges affecting Friendly vessels was intended.  I don't know if Optec changed his mind and plans to "un-friendly-fire" it, but I'm actually quite pleased with the way it is right now :D.


  The Perim is definitely a powerful turret, and the AT ability wipes the floor with small vessels.  I think it's a great way to make a player think: "gosh, do I want to just automatically get AT, or should I wait a bit until I'm really in trouble?"

Nah, it was unintended unfortunately - I thought that too for awhile  :blush: . I still like friendly fire though for AT charges!  :lol:

i think that at charges should do friendly fire. but not a huge amount.

maybe enough to drop the shields of a bug in 1 shot, so u can retreat them. the dominion would know how to defend against their own weapons.

I like the AT charges hitting friendlies!  It forces you to play smart!  :whistling:

It destroys a support ship in one go. No support ships near a perimeter. Thats should be taken into account.

Erm ... which support ship are you referring to?  The C-11?

It's been theorised that even just the sneeze would be enough! No sense wasting perfectly good schnapps, after all!

if u left a c11 alone for 10 real world minutes it would probably rust and explode.
