In response to my last post, I have also noticed that two races from the original Armada II no longer exists. I would like to see the return of the Cardasians and Species 8427. This would really make this MOD the best ever.

Both of which are slated to be involved in the future, just not playable for storyline and canon reasons ( 8472 are OP and Cardassia suffered a massive near-genocide).

well the queen did recommand the loyalty of seven of breasts in a late voyager episode. so presumably she would have asked her for the nanoprobe weapons. i bet that was the first thing she asked.

She probably asked but I don't think Voyager gave them the weapons, and really don't think Starfleet would ever allow it.

voyager wouldnt need to give the borg the weapons, only seven tell the queen how to make them when she flip flopped back to the dark side.

Janeway also gave the specs to 8472 though so maybe they could find a way to turn the Borg's own trick against them and adapt

Janeway gave 8472 the plans for the weapon, their tech level is likely sufficient to make good use of them. They also considered only Voyager a threat and not the Borg (who wouldn't?).

having the plans might lead to 8472 making an adaption. then again it might not.
the weapon worked by attacking them on a biological leve. the nanoprobes pretended to be 8472 cells i believe. presumably the 8472 cells cant detect them, so how would they ever adapt? its possible either way.
personally id prefer to think that 8472 has adapted and take greatly reduced damage from the weapons, but arent invincible any more, the weapons work to a degree, so no more purging the galaxy for them.
id also like to think that the borg have some adaption to the bio weapons too.

8472 seem to have a great deal of skill in genetic engineering (judging from their DNA, their ships, etc) so it's not inconceivable that they could engineer a defense against the nanoprobes, especially if they had the specifications...
But yeah, I like to think the same thing - they've adapted so they're not the one-shotters they used to be, but still take damage from them.

8472 ships are identical to them and seem far too perfect to be natural. Creatures that are so perfect for ships likely have some genetic engineering in them, which would presumably allow them to alter the design to correct the flaws.
Going by TNG-Borg instead of the Voyager ones, some degree of adaption is very likely. Those ones should have got more data with every shot and adapted like they did against hand weapons.
