old/new Weapon idea a blast from the past

I got good feedback on my last idea so I am gonna put another one out there.

This idea is about a using the old 8462 or what ever there designation was, weapon back in for one of the two upcoming races.

I think its a good idea and the ground work is already done on the weapon it would be grate to have it back.

The weapon was to have 2-6 ships fire at the a findlay unit or object witch then uses all incoming energy and converts it in to one large energy blast. It was grate for taking out stations.

This would be cool to see for the upcoming noxter race. But what is the second race that is suppose to be created ?

Agreed, some race should have the ability to have smaller ships clipped on to a weak giant ship increasing the power substantially!

Ciadan, Noxter, and Iconian are the 3 planned for future (Noxter are first followed by Iconian I believe)

I've always like the idea of individually weak ships, but combinatorially powerful

Is combinatorially even a word? 

...regardless, I like Rhaz's idea of smaller ships clipping on to larger ones to make them more powerful, sounds like a potential Noxter feature to me in a way

Umm. weak ships already are more powerful combined, that´s called a fleet 

But seriously, why not, a weapon of this sort would be nice.

Though i have to say i hate the idea of non-canon races (i know the iconias are canon but very extinct also  ). But i don´t want to get into this here^^

they could be green and purple and the special weapon could be called the Devestator!  and they would always speak in rhyme when using it

Seriously tho  i love the idea even tho i could never get it to work correctly in armada 2 with species 8472
